The company Molino Bruno spa operates in the field of grain mill industry in Cosenza since 1948. It is the direct emanation of the Bruno family’s experience from way back in the first nineteen hundred with their great grandfather, Pasquale, which had begun said activity with a remarkable success in the town of Rose(CS) with a millstone grain mill set in action by water that has represented a reference point for the grain/cereal industry of that age. From such experience, his son Angelo transformed the millstone grain mill to cylinders. In turn, Angelo’s sons, Salvatore, Agostino, Giovanni and Quintino created the new grain mill located in Cosenza passing their experience to the forth and fifth generation which presently manages a grain mill that is able to grind 250 tons of grain in 24 hours with the aid of the most modern technologies.
The marketing objective is to produce quality flours. For this reason, it has been studied and developed a technological process that keeps in mind the characteristics and place of origin of the grains that is put to grind in order to obtain a finished product adequate to the demands of the market.
